Dr. Bryan Matthisen was born and raised in Anchorage; he attended East high school and the University of Alaska Anchorage. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA. At the end of his tenure in San Jose, Bryan’s preceptorship was at the chiropractic office where the San Jose Sharks hockey players received their care. This experience allowed him to witness how the top athletes in the sport, as well as family-friendly patients, were treated with the current and new tools of chiropractic.

Techniques

Dr. Matthisen has obtained certifications in the following techniques:

  • Active Release Technique, Full body (ART)
  • Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
  • SMART Tools Certification

Credentials

Dr. Matthisen was a member of Palmer College of Chiropractic West’s Sports council, which allowed him to provide onsite chiropractic care to athletes at all types of events such as:
