Dr. Barry Matthisen, D.C.
Dr. Barry Matthisen, DC, was raised in south Anchorage. He graduated from Service High School and Western Washington University. He obtained his doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic and has been practicing in south Anchorage for over 25 years. He is also an Advanced Graduate of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego and has been involved with auto crash research since 2002, from participating in live human crash testing to biomechanics and whiplash traumatology. He has been qualified as an expert in Alaska Courts, and remains on the forefront of current research. This advanced training and experience is crucial and has shown to be successful with patients suffering from auto crash and work injuries. He also has been the doctor for the Anchorage Aces hockey club and treats sports injuries in addition to providing general family wellness care.
Dr. Matthisen is also the proud owner of a beautiful yellow labrador, Zoey.

Dr. Bryan Matthisen, D.C.
Dr. Bryan Matthisen was born and raised in Anchorage; he attended East high school and the University of Alaska Anchorage. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA. At the end of his tenure in San Jose, Bryan’s preceptorship was at the chiropractic office where the San Jose Sharks hockey players received their care. This experience allowed him to witness how the top athletes in the sport, as well as family-friendly patients, were treated with the current and new tools of chiropractic. Throughout his time busy time through school he obtained certifications in:

Jane Ward, Director
Jane is the Director of Alaska Back Care Center. She was born in The Dalles, Oregon into a large family; Jane is one of two sets of twins, and has two more siblings as as well! Her family eventually moved to Sunnyside, Washington, where Jane graduated from Sunnyside High School. She has several certifications in Business.
Jane moved to Southeast Alaska in 1985, where she volunteered in her girls’ class room and then began substituting at the elementary school. Jane also, was involved in the girls track team, gymnastics, baton twirling and annual swim trips; she took the gymnastic & basketball girls team to Juneau to participate in away sports. In 1987 they moved to Anchorage.
Jane has two daughters, Kristine and Kimberly (5 grandchildren) all reside in Anchorage.

Kimberly Iozzo, Marketing Manager
Kimberly was born in Sunnyside, WA and graduated from Bartlett High School in Anchorage. She then went on to graduate from Alaska Career College with a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) diploma in 2002. She is the proud mother of two: Her son, Winston, and daughter, Hannah-Jane. Kimberly is also an avid potter and has her own studio where she creates pottery and glass artwork. Volunteering is another passion of hers. She is the leader of the Family Readiness Group, an Exchange Host Parent, and a member of the Protestant Women of the Chapel.

Dolly Rancourt – Office Manager/Billing Specialist
Dolly Rancourt graduated from Bartlett High School. Her father was in the US Air Force which afforded them to have traveled and lived in various areas of the United States. Dolly is the oldest of 4 daughters.
She was married in Anchorage, AK then moved her and her family to Mt. Vernon, WA. She has 2 daughters and 2 sons, as well as 10 grand children ranging in ages of 3 to 20 years old! Dolly moved back to Alaska in 2009 and love the beautiful summers!
Dolly graduated from Alaska Career College, she studied Billing and Coding.

Josh Morehouse, Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Josh has been a licensed massage therapist since 2011 after graduating from Alaska Career College in Anchorage, AK. He also holds a National Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Josh uses a wide range of massage modalities to provide bodywork focused on pain relief, rehabilitation, and recovery from injury.

Joi has lived in Anchorage for over 20 years and is an active member
of her community. Joi is not only a massage therapist but a group fitness instructor at her local YMCA. Joi believes she can help those looking for an alternative to healing
the body by educating the public on living a healthy lifestyle while maintaining a healthy chiropractic routine at the same time.
Rachel LaMay, Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Rachel moved up to Anchorage after meeting her husband in 2014. She is originally from Lake Stevens, WA where she lived with her parents and 9 siblings before moving to AK. She attended Spectrum Center School of Massage in Lake Stevens and graduated from there in 2010. She has absolutely loved her career choice! She loves that she can help people by relieving them of the stress and muscle aches and pains that they have to live with day to day.
